Although the Site is updated frequently, a specific store location may or may not be authorized to provide LiveScan services at the time you use the Site. You should verify with the store location before using its services.

Store locations listed on the Site are independently owned and operated. LiveScan disclaims responsibility or liability for the actions or omissions of store operators, government agencies, or their employees.

LiveScan is not responsible for the accuracy or dissemination of background checks or background information arising from the use of LiveScan services or this Site. LiveScan disclaims all warranties regarding any store location’s accreditation, registration, licensing, or legal compliance.

This service is not intended for individuals under age 13. LiveScan does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.

By registering for services through this Site, you consent to receive electronic communications from LiveScan. These communications satisfy legal requirements for written notice.

A completed Live Scan form is required to schedule an appointment. Appointments cannot be accommodated without one.

If you do not have a form, we can print one in-store for a $10 fee (subject to availability).

Important: Appointments cannot be used to obtain a criminal history (“Rap Sheet”) or FBI Personal Checks. Please call before scheduling with questions.

Government fees must be paid separately at the Live Scan location. These include:

• California DOJ fees
   
• FBI fees
   
• Additional licensing or certification fees (if applicable)

• Appointments must be booked under the applicant’s name
   
• Bring your confirmation number
   
• Full refunds require cancellation at least 2 days in advance
   
• Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable
   
• Merchant processing fees are non-refundable
